【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교(총장 최재영)는 뷰티융합학과 졸업 예정 학생들이 미용 봉사활동을 실시했다고 23일 밝혔다.
지난 22일 뷰티융합학과 4학년생들 대학 인근에 위치한 대불노인복지관을 찾아 어르신들을 대상으로 네일아트와 손 마사지 봉사를 펼쳤다.
봉사에 참여한 미용 분야에 심화한 교육과정인 학사학위전공 심화과정(뷰티융합학과) 졸업 예정 학생들은 전공을 통해 배운 전문 기술을 활용해 이웃 사랑을 실천했다.
박선미 학생(과 대표)은 “강의실에서 배운 기술로 어르신들께 작은 기쁨을 드릴 수 있어 뿌듯하다”며 “앞으로도 이웃을 생각하고 봉사를 꾸준히 이어갈 수 있도록 하겠다” 했다.
배기완 뷰티융합학과 학과장은 “지역사회에 봉사는 우리 대학교 학훈이기도 하다”며 “나눔과 사랑을 베풀면서 아름다움을 추구하는 전문 인재를 양성하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
